Glow creates a sophisticated, contemporary environment for NBC Universal at MIPTV 2010.

Comprised of four segments separated by fire corridors, the unusual shape of NBC’s MIPTV space required a creative solution to fashion it into a unified whole. Using a central circular reception as the base, the floor plan devised by Glow creates a natural, orderly flow for a seamless exhibition environment.

Finished in dark wood with internally illuminated glass panel backing, the elegant curved reception area serves as the focal point for greeting and directing guests. To make this a central design feature, curved shapes are utilized on other structural elements such as the hospitality bar, stage offices, and lounge. Angled corridors lined with private screening rooms lead back to the lounge and terrace.  Use of contrasting carpet colors brings definition to the different areas, giving guests a visual cue of the transition between public and private sections.

Throughout the space large format prints are strategically placed to showcase featured content. Within the 23 screening rooms, custom media units house NBC’s proprietary content delivery system. Each room is also fitted with furniture and lighting built specifically for NBC.  Hospitality areas complete the experience, with a bar and lounge overlooking the Riviera and an outdoor terrace built out with walnut veneer low walls and custom planters.
